Twin-lift on mid-locks

Recently, Ports of Auckland has developed some technology that we believe will greatly improve vessel productivity and  vessel turn time.

The technology enables our ZPMC cranes to twin-lift on discharge and load when confronted with mid-locks. A large amount of testing has been completed and we are now reading to roll this technology out into production.

To ensure that all our shipping line customers are comfortable with this technology being used on their vessel, we are sending this email with a brief description of what the technology does and a video that shows the technology in action.

Please have your vessel management departments check with vessels / owners to ensure that approval is given prior to Ports of Auckland implementing the new system.
